ART LAB: INVENT & EXPERIMENT
JUNE 1-5
Kick off the summer with a week of creative exploration! Campers will dive into a variety of art forms including printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media as they experiment, build, and discover new ways to create. This week is all about trying new things, getting messy, and letting imagination lead the way.
WILD & WEIRD NATURE
JUNE 8-12
Nature is full of surprises! Campers will explore the strange, beautiful, and unexpected parts of the natural world through art. From designing their own creatures to creating botanical prints and building insect-inspired sculptures, this week blends science, imagination, and creativity.
GLOBAL MAKERS: ART AROUND THE WORLD
JUNE 15-19
Travel the globe through art! Campers will explore creative traditions from around the world, including mask-making, storytelling, and puppetry. This week highlights how art connects cultures and communities, with projects inspired by global celebrations, history, and artistic practices.
MOTION, PERFORMANCE, & PLAY
JUNE 22-26
Get moving and get creative! This high-energy week explores the connection between art, movement, and play. Campers will design their own games, create kinetic sculptures, and experiment with performance and visual storytelling through motion-based art.
COSMIC WORLDS & FANTASY
JULY 6-10
Blast off into imagination! Campers will create their own worlds inspired by space, science fiction, and fantasy. From designing planets to building futuristic artifacts, this week encourages big ideas, storytelling, and creative world-building.
TREASURES, MAPS, & MYSTERY
JULY 13-17
Set off on a creative adventure! Campers will design maps, build treasure chests, and create mysterious objects while exploring storytelling through art. This week is full of imagination, discovery, and hands-on making inspired by exploration and adventure.
MESSY MASTERPIECES
JULY 20-24
End the summer with a splash! This week is all about big, bold, and messy art-making. Campers will experiment with paint, clay, and collaborative projects as they create large-scale works and explore process-based art. Be ready to get messy and have fun!
A brand-new summer camp taught and directed by Martin City Melodrama at EA for theatrical arts! This camp teaches the young theatre artist classic comedy of yesteryear. Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, The Marx Brothers as well as the modern comedians of today. Emphasis will be on improvisation, slapstick, the art of telling a joke, and physical theatre. Music will be included to emphasize the rhythm of performing cleaning executed comedy. The day camp creates an original cowboy melodrama and vaudeville with student actors and culminates into three live performances on the Englewood Arts Center for families and friends to see. Students with disabilities are encouraged to participate. The student actors will experience teamwork, discipline for theatrical arts and build self-esteem in the live shows performed by themselves. This all-inclusive camp will also teach the fine art of throwing crème pies!

How to Register:Interested in enrolling in camp? Please follow these steps:
Complete the Interest Form.
All prospective campers must submit an Interest Form to be considered for enrollment.
Interested in a scholarship? Be sure to select “Yes” on the Interest Form.
Submission of the Interest Form does not guarantee a spot in the camp or a scholarship award.
Receive Your Offer Email
Within one week of submitting the Interest Form, EA staff will send a personalized Offer Email, which will include:
Your child’s enrollment status (admitted or waitlisted)
Admission is processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Waitlisted campers may be admitted if space becomes available.
Scholarship award details, if applicable
A link to complete registration and submit payment (for admitted campers)
Confirm Enrollment & Submit Payment
Payment must be completed within 10 business days not exceeding 1 full business day prior to the camp start day to secure your child’s spot.
Campers whose payment is not received by the deadline will be considered unregistered, and their spot may be offered to a waitlisted participant.

Thanks to the support of generous donors we have supported over 200 students and families to attend the Summer Arts Camp program since 2021. Each scholarship assists families with the cost of lunches and art supplies for their children.
