Watch Glass Come Alive
Watch molten glass glow, twist, and transform right before your eyes! Our glassblowers turn liquid fire into one-of-a-kind art using tools and techniques passed down for centuries. Feel the heat, hear the hiss, and see a glowing blob become a work of art in minutes.
Ceramic Glaze and Surface Design Workshop
Bubble, Pop, Electric Kiln
Grab a piece of ceramic bisque ware and make it your own! Using color, texture, and cool techniques like bubble glazing, you'll design a one-of-a-kind piece that's totally you. No two creations are ever the same - what will yours look like?

Glass Blowing Demonstration

Students gather in our glass studio to watch a professional glassblower shape molten glass in real time - heating, spinning, and sculpting a piece from start to finish, with narration explaining each step.

Time may vary depending on project, but groups can anticipate approximately 60 minutes of activity. Can accommodate groups of 30 at a time.

Glassblowing is a rare opportunity for students to see a physical science (heat, viscosity, transformation of matter) happen live, paired with real-time exposure to a working studio art career.

Students watch from a safe viewing area; no protective gear needed since this is observation-only.
Bookings available on Wednesdays and Thursday only.

Ceramic Glaze & Surface Design Workshop

Students choose a premade ceramic piece and personalize it using glaze and surface design techniques like bubble glazing and underglazing.

Time may vary depending on project, but fits comfortably within a standard visit - no drying/build wait since pieces are pre-fired. Plan for at least 90 minutes.

Every glaze is a tiny chemistry experiment. Reactions happen under intense heat, fusing into a permanent glass coating. Students aren't just making art, they're laying the groundwork for a real chemical transformation. It's color theory and design thinking layered on top of hands-on science.

Finished pieces are glaze-fired after the visit; pickup details provided at booking.
