CERAMIC DATE NIGHT EXPERIENCE

Swap dinner and drinks for clay and creativity. Ceramic Date Night invites pairs to unwind and create using wheel throwing ceramic techniques in a casual, welcoming studio environment. Whether you’re making mugs, small vessels, or sculptural pieces, this class is about process over perfection and enjoying the experience together. Bonus: Beverages included!

DATE NIGHT GLASSBLOWING EXPERIENCE

Looking for a creative date idea? How about making glass and a memory you both won’t soon forget? Englewood Arts offers this unique experience with wine and dessert included.
The evening starts with a sweet treat and short glass demo, then you can choose to each make an item or collaborate and make a larger item to take home and brag about to your friends.

Learn the basics or continue your expertise with talented jazz musician Alan Voss. Whether you are just beginning, Intermediate, or Advanced, we offer a fun and welcoming learning environment for all ages.

Lessons offered for a variety of instruments, including guitar (acoustic and electric), bass guitar, piano (Beginning to Intermediate), drums, and music theory.

    March 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16, and 18th at 6:00 pm (Ongoing)

    Glass Blowing 101, a comprehensive 3-week class designed to ignite your creativity and unleash your inner artist! Throughout this course, participants will dive deep into the fundamentals of glass manipulation, mastering the materials tools, and techniques necessary to transform molten glass into finished pieces. Whether you’re a beginner eager to explore a new artistic medium or someone seeking a refresher course this experience is tailed to accommodate all skill levels.

    Pinnable Pottery: Functional Ceramics - Spoon Rest & Garlic Grater Bowl

    March 17th, 6:00 pm

    Bring a little handmade charm to your kitchen in this warm and approachable ceramic workshop. Participants will design and hand-build a ceramic spoon rest and garlic dish, exploring simple forms, texture, and surface decoration inspired by folk and functional pottery traditions. Using slab-building techniques, you’ll create two useful pieces meant for everyday cooking and gathering. Finished work will be fired and ready to add a thoughtful, handmade touch to your home.

    Vintage Paper Covered Boxes

    March 22nd, 1 pm

    Work with Artist Lisa Ann Sugimoto to create a set of seven vintage paper covered boxes. This course will introduce several basic bookbinding techniques to expertly cover a set of paper mache boxes with vintage wrapping papers or Japanese newspapers. All vintage materials are curated and sourced by the instructor. Complimentary tea and cookies served during class.

    Pinnable Pottery: Functional Ceramics - Tea Light Sconce Workshop

    February 17th, 6:00pm

    Create a little glow for your walls in this hands-on ceramic workshop! In Tea Light Sconce Workshop, participants will design and hand-build a folk-inspired ceramic sconce made to hold a tea light and hang on the wall. Drawing from traditional forms, playful patterning, and personal symbolism, you’ll explore texture, shape, and surface design while learning slab-building techniques. Finished pieces will be fired and ready to bring a cozy, handmade glow into your home.

    Learn the basics of knitting in this beginner-friendly class designed to get you comfortable with yarn, needles, and foundational stitches.     Painting with Shadows - Botanical Cyanotypes on Fabrics

    February 22nd, 1:00 PM

    Artist Lisa-Ann Sugimoto will introduce us to cyan blue printing techniques; made popular in the 18th and 19th centuries. Using the sun to expose images on white cotton fabric, images and shadows magically appear in beautiful deep blue hues. Flowers, foliage, and other items will be used to create botanical prints on fabric. Students may also bring their own pre-washed 100% cotton T-shirt to design.
