This summer, we encourage youth to unleash their creative potential.
Through art-making, we facilitate the transformative power of creativity and to acquire the skills needed to bring their ideas to life!

At Englewood Arts, you learn from dynamic instructors who lead you in the creative process and encourage exploration to produce one-of-a-kind projects!

Each weekly-themed camp is open to youth of all levels and gives students the opportunity to meet others with similar interests. Join us this summer to learn how to paint, draw, sculpt, work with clay, and more!

Join us for a fun-filled journey of creativity and discovery as we explore animals through the magic of drawing, painting, and sculpting. Let your imagination soar as we bring these creatures to life on paper, canvas, and with our own hands.

Plus, get ready to meet some real-life animal experts who will share their knowledge and passion for wildlife with us. We are happy to partner with The Heart of America Shakespeare Festival to bring our unique performing arts camp to the Independence community for the 2nd consecutive year.

Here, the stage is set for young actors to immerse themselves in Shakespearean training like never before. Working with professional theatre artists, unlock the secrets of the stage and hone your acting skills through a series of dynamic activities: improvisation, stage combat, costume, set design and more. The week ends with a performance of selections from Shakespeare's classic plays. So, invoke your inner performer and delve into the heart of drama, discovering the power of expression and the magic of live performance.

Session 6 Waiver & Release of Liability

WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of the risk of injury that exists while participating in on site Summer Arts Camp at Englewood Arts Center (Hereinafter the “Activity”); and In consideration of my desire to participate in said Activity and being given the right to participate in same; I Hereby, for myself, my dependent, or personal representatives (hereinafter collectively, “Releaser” “I” or “me”, which terms also shall include Releasor’s parents or guardian if Releasor is under the age of 18 years of age), knowingly and voluntarily enter into this WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and hereby waive any and all rights, claims or causes of action of any kind arising out of my participation in the Activity; and I Hereby release and discharge Englewood Arts, located at 10901 E Winner Rd, Independence, MO 64052, their affiliates, managers, board members, attorneys, staff, volunteers, heirs and representatives (collectively Releasees), from any physical or psychological injury that may suffer as a direct result of my participation in the aforementioned Activity. Scholarship applications will open soon for our 2024 camp season.
